The Capital Boys Futsal Team - An Update
Capital Boys, supported by Capital Radio and Burn Energy Drink, have made it to the 2nd round of the knockout MFA Futsal tournament but unfortunately their adventure had to end here.
It was a well played game, and despite most of the regular players were not playing because of injuries, it was the Capital Boys who opened the score. It was a fantastic game, especially till the first half, when it was still possible for the team to win the match. One could see great teamwork between the players and we were very unfortunate and disappointed to see the ball almost going through but hitting the post in various occasions throughout the game.
The Capital Boys will now take a short break, and will be back during the hot summer months preparing for a new season. We are now looking for new members and sponsors to join us for next season and build a stronger team and hopefully get promoted to the 3rd division.
It was an excellent first season (the only team in the 4th Division league that did not loose a game). Good luck for next season.
