What
is your one ambition?
Become rich. Stop working and dedicate all my time
to my favourite interest - dog training.
What was your first job?
My first part-time job still as a student was barman.
After graduating my first full-time job was as a graphic designer.
Fascinating fact about you?
I always try to do things to the best I can. At
times I’m a bit of a pain as I tend to become a bit too perfectionist.
One word you'd use to describe you.
Friendly.
You have Lm10 to spend on impressing someone - what
would you buy?
I’ll go for a Lm10 bottle of wine (should
be something quite decent) a couple of glasses and we’ll just go
out in the country or by the beach to sip some wine and a nice chat. Even
if what I say won’t impress after a couple of glasses of wine I’ll
guess that things might change perspective.
Your favourite memory?
The great exhibitions me and my dog used to give.
Unfortunately he passed away. But at times I still remember how proud
I used to be after performing all the tricks correctly in front of an
enthusiastic crowd.
Your most embarrasing moment?
Though I try to avoid these moments, I can say that
I have my fair share of embarrassments too, one particular moment that
I remember was when I was speaking badly about a lecturer and didn’t
notice he was just behind me. No wonder I go a C in his exam!
What's your most memorable on-air experience?
Years ago I used to do a day marathon in aid of
charity round Xmas time. For a whole day I used to play music and do a
program whilst encouraging people to donate for a particular cause. I
did this for 4 years in a row and each year was a great success and a
great satisfaction for myself to feel that I did a good deed for Christmas
time and managed to put a smile on someone else’s face.
What do Capital Radio's listeners mean to you?
Since I’ve got listeners, than that means
... that I’m doing a good job! Some of the listeners after listening
to my program over and over and at times giving a call, tend to become
more of “friends” so at times I’ll be expecting their
call for a request or just to say Hello.
Since I've been at Capital I have learnt that...
I should always speak in singular whilst On-Air -
and no matter how long you’ve been playing on air each time feels like the
first time.
